Fireguard Course

 This is a 4-hour Certificate of Fitness Examination Preparatory course. Students are taught, then drilled on what they absorbed in class. Certificates of Completion will be issued. A 28-page Handout is given to each student, which is theirs to keep and study.

 Topics covered include:

 ·        Familiarization with the Application Process, and Official Fire Department study material

 ·        General Duties of the Fireguard

 ·        Safety Requirements, Safety Signs, Inspections, Fire Extinguishers, Sprinkler Systems and Standpipes.

 ·        Test-Taking Techniques
