We are certified by N.Y. State, Division of Criminal Justice Services, to teach all mandated Security Guard training courses. We are also authorized to conduct N.Y.S. Peace Officer and N.Y.C. Special Patrolman courses.
N.Y. State mandated Security Guard course description:
- 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Course (this is the 1st course you must take - required before you begin work)
- 16 Hour On-The-Job Training Course (the 2nd course you need to take - required within 90 days of starting work as a security guard - note that you may take the course before starting work - you do not need to be working in order to take the course.
- 8 Hour Annual In-Service Course (also known as the Refresher Course - required every year after you begin work as a security guard)
- License, officially referred to as Security Guard Registration (must renew every 2 years)

LICENSE Service (Officially known as SECURITY GUARD REGISTRATION) After typing the captions on your 2 fingerprint cards, we will fingerprint you on a New York State card and an F.B.I. Card. We will give you all the forms you need to send to the State's License Division in Albany. Cost is $25.00 (Cash or Money Order)
