Emergency Action Plans...as required by N.Y.C. Local Law 26

REMS Training, Inc. will create and file with the FDNY, an Office Building Emergency Action Plan as required by New York City Local Law 26 and 3 RCNY § 6-02, Title 3, that will satisfactorily set forth the circumstances, and sufficiently detail, the procedures by which building occupants will be directed to shelter in place, relocate, partially evacuate or evacuate the building.

More specifically, REMS Training, Inc. will:

Perform mandatory Consultation with Neighboring Buildings

Assist in the preparation of the EAP floor plans specifically as it relates to the marking of those plans to reflect exit routes and in-building relocation areas.

Prepare and assist in the preparation of the following required forms:

• Building Information Cards    

• EAP Staff Designation Form  

• Fire Safety/EAP Warden Designation Form

• Deputy Fire Safety/EAP Warden Designation Form

• Fire Safety/EAP Brigade Member Designation Form

• Building Personnel Critical Operation Staff Designation Form

• Office Employees Critical Operation Staff Designation Form

• Number of Building Occupants Form

• Building Components/Communication Form

• In-building Relocation Areas Form

• Specific Evacuation Requirements Form

• Assembly Areas Form

• Staffing Chart – for Posting on each floor
